Statement of Philosophy:
The primary function of a school is to provide students with the learning experiences necessary for maximum intellectual development. The success of this
process is limited or enhanced by each child’s emotional, social, and physical health. For this reason, the SHAC of Bryan ISD supports the concept of a coordinated school health program.
This coordinated program requires school personnel and community members to interact with each other to develop policies, procedures, and activities that ensure the delivery of add sound health education and health services for all within a healthy school environment.
Mission:
All children will successfully graduate from Bryan ISD with a comprehensive health education that has prepared them to enter adulthood with the knowledge and skills to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
