The Hammond-Oliver High School for Human Sciences opened in 1993, when a former hospital building was converted to its present day use.
It allows students in grades 9-12 to spend half-days in an academically challenging curriculum designed for those with an interest in health care.
Resources within the Bryan/College Station regional medical complex are utilized as students participate in field trips and internships with the programs.
