| History: | The Flexible High School Program, or Flex Program, is approved by the Texas Education Agency to address the needs of at-risk students. The students work with the Flex Program principal to decide their hours of attendance between 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. and the development of a timeline for completion of courses required for graduation using the computer based curriculum. Flex Program students receive career guidance and have the opportunity to participate in real world internships and vocational training. Flex Program students must meet all TAKS and BISD credit requirements for graduation. There is an interview process in order to be considered for acceptance into the Flex Program. Interested students currently enrolled in Bryan ISD should contact their high school academic advisor to start the application process to be considered for Flex Program acceptance. |
