Mandy Mershon has been teaching for more than 25 years. Originally from the Austin area, she went to The University of Texas, majoring in Education and minoring in English. When she is not at school, she enjoys reading, painting, and playing board games, video games and Dungeons and Dragons with her friends and family. She lives with her husband and three children, along with 2 dogs, 6 cats, and an axolotle. She also runs a theatre company, called Meridian Theatre, that performs Shakes on the Lake, a free Shakespeare production in the summers.
