For the 20th year in a row, Bryan ISD has earned the state’s highest financial accountability rating.
The Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) measures school districts’ financial accountability system, and Bryan ISD has received an “A,” or “Superior Achievement,” rating for the 20th consecutive year.
Led by the Board of Trustees and administrators who work directly with these numbers, the district has received the top rating every year the system has been in place.
This rating shows that Bryan ISD’s schools are accountable not only for student learning but also for achieving these results cost-effectively and efficiently.
The Superior Achievement rating demonstrates the quality of the district’s financial management and reporting system. The system measures multiple state, local and federal metrics to determine the ratings based on how well districts meet each metric.
