Kim Guess, Principal

Kim Guess earned a Bachelor of Science from Texas State University and Master of Education Administration from Sam Houston State University.

She began her career teaching 8th grade math at Long Middle School for five years, then moved into the role of master teacher and instructional coach for 6th - 8th grade math at Davila Middle School.  

After a year, she transitioned into the position of assistant principal at Davila Middle School for a year, and then became an elementary math instructional coach at the district level.

In the 2018-2019 school year, Guess began serving as an assistant principal at Rayburn Intermediate School, a role she held for four years.

In 2022, Mrs. Guess joined Bowen Elementary as the proud campus principal

Kim is married to Michael Guess, and they have two daughters who are in 9th grade and 2nd Grade, both in Bryan ISD.
