Ms. Dorsey is certified to teach Dance, Health Education, and Physical Education in the state of Texas.
She teaches the Davila Dancers Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop, and Contemporary Dance.

Any dancer needing tutoring or help with any dance can stay afterschool on Monday's from 4:30pm until 5:30pm they must make arrangements with Ms. Dorsey the Friday before the Monday they plan to stay.
My Credentials
Ms. Dorsey graduated from the University of Houston (Central Campus) in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Education. She is certified to teach Health Education, Dance, and Physical Education in Texas. At the University of Houston she danced with the University Dance Theatre. In addition she danced professionally with independent choreographers in Houston while attending the University of Houston. She was also the owner of a Dance United Dance Studio in Houston for twelve years.
Mrs. Dorsey also graduated from the Open Bible Academy with a certificate in Theology and is a Certified Christian Counselor.
The Davila Tex-Ann Dance Ensemble
The Davila Tex-Ann Dance Ensemble is a dance performance group comprised of 8th grade dancers. They have participated in a leveling class and have been selected to be a part of the group. All 8th grade dancers who have had dance 1 and have performed at least one year are welcome to participate in the leveling class/audition process.
As a part of this Ensemble, these young dancers are expected to be great citizens and pass all classes. We perform thoughout the year and participate in one competition.

The IMpress
Girls Club
The IMpress Club is a club for girls to learn responsibility, etiquette, leadership and self love.
This club meets once a month and has traveled to Prairie View A&M and Texas A&M. They have had multiple speakers to speak on being an entrepreneaur and leadership.
The only requirement is that the girls have great behavior citizenship.
