The 2025-2026 Bryan ISD School Calendar is now available for families and community members to see.
At the December 16 meeting, the Board of Trustees unanimously approved the new school year calendar, which was listed as Option I in the calendar survey. The approved calendar is very similar to the current 2024-2025 school year.
The board’s decision comes after months of planning including feedback from parents, teachers, campus leaders, students, school board members, district program representatives and district administrators. During the latest calendar survey, 86% of participants voted for Option I.
The first day of school will be August 13, 2025, with the school year ending on May 22, 2026.
The calendar also features a weeklong Fall Break in October, just like this current school year.
It is important to note that both calendar options featured the same number of operational minutes for student instruction (75,600 minutes) and 187 work days for teachers.
Bryan ISD thanks all the stakeholders who provided feedback and helped create the 2025-2026 calendar.
