Congratulations to the Bryan ISD Career and Technical Education Department on receiving the 2025 CTAT District of Distinction Award!
The award, which was established by the Career & Technical Association of Texas, celebrates CTE programs throughout the state that showcase best practices and demonstrate exemplary leadership, innovation, dedication and excellence in advancing CTE.
Of the more than 1,200 school districts in the state of Texas, Bryan ISD was one of only 38 selected to receive the 2025 CTAT District of Distinction Award. Bryan ISD, along with Conroe ISD, were the only two districts selected out of Region 6.
The Career & Technical Association of Texas was founded in 1999 as a non-profit member-based organization, and at least one CTE Administrator in the district must be a member of CTAT to be eligible to receive the CTE District of Distinction Award.
CTAT helps provide access to quality CTE programs that meet the needs and opportunities in the regional and state workforce. The organization also advocates for state appropriations and policies that benefit CTE programs and students.
“These exceptional districts excel in preparing students for future workforce success through impactful programs that align with industry demands, foster achievement, and inspire best practices statewide,” the CTAT website states. “Their commitment sets a benchmark for others to follow as they shape the future of Texas.”
We are proud of our Bryan ISD CTE administrators, teachers and students who have all helped to make the CTE department and programs some of the best in the state!
Children First. Always.
