Bryan ISD's Strategic Planning process brings together representatives from all of its stakeholder groups - parents, students, district employees, city partners and community members - to help plan for the future of Bryan ISD. The goal of the committee will be to create a comprehensive long-term (10-15 year) plan to improve and enhance the district. This plan will outline proposed new construction, renovation and maintenance scope for Bryan ISD facilities. The committee members will look at safety and security, facilities, growth and future needs to help develop this plan. The purpose of bringing together these individuals from across the stakeholder groups is to develop a plan that represents the needs of the district as a whole and looks at the "big picture."

A total of 90 individuals from all stakeholder groups (parents, students, district employees, city partners and community members) have been invited to join the committee and attend these weekly meetings.

The Strategic Planning Committee's first meeting was Thursday, March 20, and the group will meet every Thursday into May 2025:

Timeline:

• January 2024 - Bryan ISD facility study (conducted by PBK)

• August 2024 - Haliburton Auxiliary Complex opens (dedicated in September 2024)

• January 2025 - Demographic Study (performed by PASA)

• February 2025 - Strategic Planning process begins

• March 2025 - Strategic Planning Committee holds first meeting

• Summer 2025 - Strategic Planning Committee work set to complete
