Elections
Seven elected members of the Bryan ISD Board of Trustees -- five selected from single-member districts and two representing the community-at-large -- serve three-year terms. Trustees serve without pay. Elections are held on the regular November election date to select trustees for positions expiring that year.

The 88th Legislature passed HB 2626, which now requires all political subdivisions to post all campaign reports filed on or after September 1, 2023, on the website. The reports must remain on the district's website for five years.
Qualifications for Local Political Subdivisions from the Texas Secretary of State can be found here. Candidates can also review and sign the Code of Fair Campaign Practices here.
The Texas Association of School Boards requires board members to fulfill certain training requirements. Please refer to the TASB website for more information about those requirements.
