Hello! My name is Ms. Hopkins and I am the Bryan High School Deaf Education classroom teacher with the Brazos Valley Regional Day School Program for the Deaf (BVRDSPD)! I am a proud Stephen F Austin State University alumni. I have 24+ years of experience overall and this is my 9th year working in Bryan ISD. I am very excited to be a part of your student's journey through high school!

My goal is to help DHH students become successful lifelong learners in an ever-changing world through meaningful experiences, challenging tasks, practicing self-advocacy, being accountable, and holding high expectations.

My Credentials

Graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University

I have a Bachelor's in Deaf Education and a Master's in Special Education from SFASU. I have my certification as an Educational Diagnostician and recently acquired my ESL Certification. I have 24+ years of experience teaching ECSE- Age 22 DHH students along the continuum of services from self-contained (resource) to inclusion. I have experience providing itinerant services across the Bryan Independent School District and instruction in a resource setting.
